An intermittent account of my journey as professional student and practicing educator.
Why the bad blogitude? BTW, if you made that word up it really summarizes what a blog is about....good or bad.Mark
I'm afraid that I am guilty of what I hate to see on blogs (ranting)...not sure if it is my short attention span or what but I can only read so many comments before being "over it". Like many things in life, I like the idea of blogs but the reality doesn't measure up. Ever read the commentary on the Cincinnati Enquirer site? Most of the comments are horrible. It makes me want to move someplace else. And I would not have looked at it at all except that my husband has become a big fan of reading blog commentary on a few sites... The other reason my "blogitude" is bad is that I get overwhelmed with the sheet amount of information out there. I feel like I can barely keep up with my students during the school year, nevermind going online to read all of the professional development stuff I have subscribed to. Will you be my RSS? ;)I will have to say that the educational uses put forth by Richardson (Will) are very exciting. I just don't think I'll ever have a personal or professional blog myself at any point. It's like my travel journal...I write in it the first couple of days during the trip and then end up trying to recreate what we did from memory when I get back home.
